Our Wakefield taproom is the home of Lost Cause Brewing Co. Featuring a modern taproom where you can while away an afternoon (or an evening) with a Lost Cause beer brewed right here on our 10hl brewkit.

We like to keep things nice and relaxed here. We host a weekly rotating schedule of some of the the best street food around, from Malaysian curries, smash burgers, toasties, West African stews, tacos, with child friendly and vegan offerings from all vendors. And when they’re not in? Well... we’ve got our delicious “picky tea” offering, of course. Think charcuterie boards, pastries, and desserts that pair nicely with all of our lovely beer you’re drinking.

It’s not just award winning (ooh-er!) beer you'll find here, though; we've got house wines, spirits, Yorkshire cider, soft drinks, plus tea and locally roasted coffee - enough to please even the pickiest of drinkers!

Grab a couple of cans from the fridge to take home, if you’re not quite ready to call it; and with us being just a short walk from Wakefield Kirkgate train station, it’s an easy one whether you’re local or travelling in from afar.

We’re super dog and family friendly, we put on the odd event here and there, but mostly we're a welcoming space for all; come down, have a drink, spend a bit of time chatting to like-minded friendly folk, or wile away an afternoon with a game of Carrooka - your call.
